Once we repent, Christ becomes our King, our Prince of Peace Matt 25:3-4 - They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. What can a lady do to get closer to the Lord? Recognize we need the Lord, repent, call on Jesus Repent Start reading the Bible, start praying, make a change Matt 6:33 -  …seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Start seeking the Lord, reading the Bible daily, start praying Ask the Lord to help find a church where they're preaching the truth Feed our soul with the word of God, to increase our faith, so we know how much God loves us When we see how much God loves us, we want to love the Lord, and obey His will Renew our minds with the word of God, so we can think in a Godly way Rom 12:2 - …be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. What can a lady do to get closer to the Lord? Seek the Lord with all your heart, mind, and soul Love one another Build one another up, encouraging one another, Loving one another God wants us to love one another God loves us all God wants us all to love one another Love one another Love Matt 22:37-39 - …Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Mark 12:30-31 - And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. John 3:30 - He must increase, but I must decrease. John 12:32 - And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me. Love one another We have to do what the Lord said Pray Ask God for understanding...to understand how much He loves you Slow down Matt 11:28 -  Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matt 11:28 - Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Rom 6:12 - Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Rom 6:11 - Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. James 1:15 - …sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
