Is it dangerous to join a church, and stop some sins? Jesus came to change our nature Jesus came to make us new creatures in Christ We can't save ourselves We become a new creature in Christ...born again Matt 5:48 - Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matt 16:24 - …If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. Deny self Denying self takes a mind of humility Come to the feet of Jesus...give Him all...trust Him First, surrender self to Jesus...denying self 2 Cor 5:17 - ...if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature... Matt 7:13-14 - Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. The whole sin nature must be changed Jesus came to make us doers of the word We please God when we do His will We please God through Jesus Christ If we please God through Jesus Christ ...how can we remain in sin? Matt 7:15 - Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
