What example does the 'church set? You're 'saved' but you still sin? Is it possible to be wicked/sinful and righteous ...at the same time? If we are 'born again' …what are we then? John 3:3 - …Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. If a lady is born again, can she be still in sin? satan influences Holy ≠ unholy clean ≠ unclean Have you ever read in the Bible, if you're half-saved, or almost saved, where you're going in the end? Rom 3:4 - let God be true, but every man a liar 1 John 3:10 - In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 1 John 3:8 - He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. We have an enemy in the world The serpent beguiled Matt 24:11 - ...many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many Man says: you can be saved and still sin Where does this teaching come from? People are headed for: either heaven or hell Someone...or something wants us to believe that when you're saved, you're just half-saved If you never stop sinning, and you are half-saved, where are you going? Sin prevents us from going to heaven Rev 20:11 - And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Rev 20:15 - ...whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. 1 - A well made-up mind 2 - love Him with all our heart, mind & soul 3 - be willing to do what He says Matt 7:21 - Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Can a lady be unsaved and saved at the same time? The unsaved go on sinning Can a lady be saved, and sin,...and yet be righteous? 2 Tim 3:13 - …evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 1 Peter 3:19 - …He went and preached unto the spirits in prison Isaiah 58:1 - Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew My people their transgression… Matt 9:38 - Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into his harvest. Religious cultures say people are saved with constant repentance Repentance is: a change in the life There is no 'almost' saved Jesus did not teach a 'half-way' saved People believe they can serve God in sin When a person is born again, Christ’s Spirit gets in them …so how can the devil then get in them? the devil has to take Christ out of you to get in you 1 John 4:4 - greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. Christ has more power than the devil if Christ is in you, the devil can’t get in you, so there is no way for you to sin when you are born again The essence of salvation: the evil spirit is cast out of you then Get in a good church Do you really feel saved? When you wake up in the morning, do you truly believe with all your heart that God has saved you? If we are born again, what are we now? 1 John 3:1-4 - Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in Him purifieth himself, even as He is pure. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. sin must be removed sin in the heart is a transgression against God Rom 6:23 - …the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Psalms 9:17 - The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
