The Spiritual Body

John 17:23 -  I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one… The difference between the physical church and the Body of Christ The Body of Christ is spiritual The 'physical' church: has divisions says you can get saved and never stop sinning says no one can be perfect is into the political world There are no divisions in the Body of Christ 1 Cor 1:10 - I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. in Christ there is no republican or democrat or independent in Christ there is no race Love everyone - discern between good and evil This is God’s land - it belongs to everybody The spiritual church comes from Jesus The Body of Christ worships by living Christ! There is no division in the Body of Christ In the Body of Christ all we can live is Jesus Christ and Him crucified 1 Cor 2:2 - …I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. This is the life that we live in the Body of Christ Jesus gives us His Spirit making God's Kingdom available to us here on the earth You get in to the Body of Christ through Christ in you Rom 5:12 - Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned 1 John 3:9 - Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Jesus came to save us from sin John 3:7 - Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 1 Cor 5:17 - …if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. If we commit only one sin, does that mean we need saving? The purpose of being saved: to be free from sin Once we are born again: - we want to do everything right - love everybody - have no respect of person - cannot hate - are not jealous - treat all mankind right - treat everybody right Is there a difference between "in the church" and "in the gospel?" In the Body of Christ, born again is the quality of the life in Christ We have to become born again and get rid of that nature of sin Would the enemy want this knowledge hidden from us? The Word is powerful - it makes for peace, joy and happiness The devil makes us try to win approval of mankind rather than approval of God WE LOVE YOU Christ is not coming back for the church building, but for His Body of Christ The devil don't want us to know what God has given us 1 John 3:8 - He that committeth sin is of the devil… Find a quiet place, talk to the Lord about your soul, about your salvation, get rid of all distractions (loose yourself from anything & anyone) know we love you seek and find Jesus; search and ask for Him with all your heart, mind and soul
